Technology has been influencing our lives over the years. It makes a lot of tasks easier and more convenient for everyone. There are just so many gadgets that changed the way we live that it's hard to mention all of them. But one of the most significant technological development of our time is the portable GPS that has been incorporated into watches like the garmin 910XT.

One of the facets of life that has been changed by technology is sports. Nowadays there are a lot of gadgets that are really very useful when it comes to sports. Sports continues to become more competitive through the years. Because of this, they also race for the best gadgets used in training and in actual gameplay.

Form the old stop clocks and performance charts, things have now become digital. Now you have digital timers, heart rate monitors and even performance records. It's a lot easier for athletes and their physicians and trainers nowadays because from weighing, to practice to the actual game, they have all the gadgets that will monitor their physical condition and performance.

But if there's one thing that every athlete would surely love it's the garmin 110. It's not just a mere wrist accessory because it's loaded with so many useful features. This is one of the offspring of the portable GPS. They merged this technology into sports watches to level it up. Some people often think that GPS is just about maps and directions. But the gPS watches prove otherwise. There are a lot of other features that are really very handy especially for athletes.

One useful feature is the heart rate monitor. This shows your heart rate as you do your training and exercises. Most of the watch models also have the ability to record your performance like the number of kilometers you run and your speed. More advanced models like the garmin 910XT also have more advanced features.
